Terms of Service

01 Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Bigy – Shopping List & Meals AI application ("the App", "Bigy", "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms apply to all users of the App.

If you do not agree with any of these Terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing the App. We may update these Terms from time to time, and your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

02 Description of Service

Bigy is an AI-powered mobile application that helps users:

• Create and manage personalized shopping lists
• Generate ingredient lists from meal names using artificial intelligence
• Identify meals from photos and generate corresponding shopping lists
• Access step-by-step cooking instructions for identified or requested meals
• Plan weekly meals and consolidate grocery requirements

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time with reasonable notice where possible.

03 User Accounts

To access certain features of Bigy, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account. Users between 13 and 18 must have parental or guardian consent.

04 Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Bigy to:

• Violate any applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations
• Transmit any harmful, offensive, or malicious content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the Service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
• Use the Service for any commercial purpose without prior written consent
• Upload content that infringes on third-party intellectual property rights

05 AI-Generated Content

Bigy uses artificial intelligence to generate shopping lists, ingredient suggestions, and cooking instructions. Please be aware that:

• AI-generated content may not always be 100% accurate or complete
• Ingredient quantities and cooking times are estimates and may vary based on brand, region, or individual preference
• You should always verify allergen information independently before consuming any meal
• Bigy is not liable for any adverse reactions, allergies, or health issues resulting from following AI-generated recipes
• Photo recognition accuracy may vary depending on image quality and lighting conditions

06 Intellectual Property

The Bigy application, including its design, code, content, AI models, brand name, logo, and all associated intellectual property, is owned by Bigy and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

Any content you submit or create within the App (shopping lists, meal preferences) remains yours, but you grant Bigy a license to use this data in anonymized form to improve the Service.

07 Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Warranties regarding the accuracy of AI-generated content
• Warranties that defects will be corrected in a timely manner

Bigy does not warrant or endorse any third-party products, stores, or services that may be referenced within the app.

08 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Bigy and its affiliates, officers, employees, and partners shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of data, profits, goodwill, or other intangible losses
• Personal injury or property damage resulting from use of the Service
• Any allergic reactions, food-related illness, or health issues
• Errors or omissions in AI-generated content

In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the amount you have paid to Bigy in the twelve months preceding the claim.

09 Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, third parties, or the integrity of the Service.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature in the app settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

10 Governing Law & Contact

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the applicable jurisdiction, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if unresolved, through binding arbitration.
